Your statement stays on your device

checkedstatement reads your PDF inside your browser. The PDF and the transactions taken from it are never sent to our servers. You can check this yourself: the converter keeps working with your network disconnected once the page has loaded.

What we may receive, and only if you choose to send it

• A masked layout, when we can't read your bank's statements yet. Before anything is sent, every digit is replaced with 0, every word that isn't common statement vocabulary is replaced with x's, and amounts are rewritten to a standard shape. You see the masked page before you click send. It contains no names, account numbers or amounts.
• Your email address, if you ask to hear when your bank is supported or about a paid plan. We use it only for that and never share or sell it.

What we always receive

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP addresses to serve the site. We count conversions (for example, "a statement was converted"), never their content.
